This is the type of stuff that you ordinarily don’t want to read unless you need it. But if you do, we’re sorry about that… but here we go:
If you have an accident, your first priority is to take care of yourself and any others involved who might be injured. Our goal will be to restore your vehicle back to BMW or Mini Cooper factory specifications. If your vehicle is beyond repair we’ll do our best to guide you through that process.
Since BMWs and Mini Coopers start out in the factory from little pieces and parts, your BMW or Mini Cooper can be restored to its pre-damage condition. It’s literally rebuilt by hand just as higher-end vehicles like Rolls Royce and Ferrari are, with new little pieces and parts.
We can store your BMW or Mini Cooper from the moment it must be towed. These cars must be handled by a first-class professional towing service. We are currently referencing Tiger Trux Towing (512-989-9595) for all BMW and Mini Cooper towing in the Austin, Westlake, Pflugerville, Dripping Springs, Oak Hill, Lakeway, Cedar Park, Liberty Hill, Lago Vista, Jonestown, Hutto, Taylor, Georgetown, Buda, Bastrop, Manor and San Marcos areas. Tiger Trux has been granted after-hours access to the Black Forest Werkshop storage lot. If your vehicle has been towed to a generic storage facility, with your approval we will arrange to have it relocated to our facility, and you will not be charged for our initial storage fees. That means you will receive the first week at no charge! The security of your vehicle and personal belongings will receive immediate attention.
The tow truck driver will be responsible for most of the needed debris cleanup. Our account with Tiger Trux will cover the towing expense until you or your insurance company pays the fee via our invoicing. You should contact your insurance company as specified in your agreement with them. Additionally, if someone else is at fault you should also contact their insurance provider. There will also be the police report; all of these need prompt attention. You may also consider consulting with an attorney.
Restoration of your vehicle back to a pre-damage condition requires specialized equipment. There are techniques and procedures which are specific to BMW and Mini Cooper restoration. They are not “just a car” as some insurance companies would like you to believe. We’ll do our very best to work with your insurance company to get you covered for the cost of repairs, and we will collaborate with you to restore your BMW or Mini Cooper back to the level of paint and assembly you expect, using parts that you personally approve. There are many tricks an insurance company may pull, such as pressure toward using “preferred” parts and repair facilities. We will encourage you to use the parts and the shop you prefer.
